One person would call it an attack, I'd call it an honest opinion.
You say I'm negative recently..that's part true. Negativity only happens in threads like these.
Here's a new idea, let's stop posting these threads. How can anyone be motivated with these types of topics.

For anyone who decides to make a post(even once a few months).. post about gaming, what you been up to, religion, comic episodes, art, music...whatever. Just please please, no more of these types of threads. It doesn't do anyone any good. (Rowan, you like these topics? Or am I putting words in your mouth)

Make a positive topic and I'll give a positive reply. Have nothing interesting to post to, and I won't reply at all.

I already did blame myself but I still consider Rowan as a leader. If it's all our faults, then like I said.. find some new positive members.
If no one wants to put any effort into reviving this place.. then just please no more "this place is dead" just to give the oldbies something to reply to.

I figure the best thing for me to do here is completely speak my mind all at once, and then just ignore anymore of these "GU is dead threads".
When the next one is made 2 months from now, I don't need to reply as "you know what I'm going to say"

So if you like, yell at me some more(from anyone) if you like. Really sad topics like these get the most replies.

The problem with getting new people here is there's nothing to attract them. No active projects means we need another means to draw people in. Once upon a time there were people signing up just to play in RPGs, others to post artwork. Others just came because it was a FRIENDLY place to hang out. Over time, people felt uncomfortable coming here, so we had no new posters.

In the long run, your negative posts both here in GCC and in the old SnDO boards has had an even more negative effect on our image than we already had. I'm not telling you your opinion is full of crap, I'm saying you could help things out by finding things to post about. But, like you said, you have little reason to post here, right? Therein lies the crux of the matter. I never came here because I felt I owed GU anything. I came here and eventually took over as owner because GU is my online home. With work, we can still become an active site again, but I can't do it all by myself.

I'm inclined to agree.  Rather than say "hurr I sure do wish someone'd post something!" why don't you start a meaningful thread?  Rather than say Rowan better invite some friends here (Seriously?  Seriously?) why don't you try bringing people here?

I have no reason to follow through on my ideas as I got no time for this place anymore. So whatever direction this forum goes, it won't matter much unless if you manage to add something where I get truly excited to check back here often.
This makes less than no sense.  You're saying "I won't bother on ever finishing something I start at GU, because frig this place, but lol if you guys have something I'm interested in I'll come back!"  That's absurd.  Completely insane.  If you've got something to add, but refuse because you have to add it, and would rather someone else read your mind and post it for you, you're nuts.

At this point though, sounds like no real changes will be made here unless if Rowan's real life becomes happy and exciting, and he has plenty of free time for this place.
Am, I wrong to think this?
Yes, you are.

much blaming, so accusatory, much excuse making, wow

So, Im gonna hop on the, "It isn't Rowans job to entertain you" wagon. True, I haven't been active in a long time here, but I don't in anyway blame GU for this, its called having a life. Your presence online tends to suffer when you have family and work responsibilities, naw'mean? Anyway, I guess I'm gonna try and get back in the GU groove, let me see what I can cook up.

I'm here to say you all suck, but I still love you guys. I sometimes think of GU, but I got my own stuff to take care of nowadays. So while I may pop up from time to time, don't think of my long periods of absence as an indictment of GU.

I suppose we're all to blame for this near fatal incident, but praise be the power of CPR!

Basically saying, I need to post more to help aid the ongoing resuscitation. Not because I feel guilty, but because I miss you guys. So any opposition to me getting in on this mouth to mouth?
