Metroid Prime 1
« on: October 26, 2012, 03:11:42 PM »
I got my 'cube out and starting playing Prime 1 again. I saw some boss videos for MP2, and I was like: "I should play Prime 1 and 2 again."

I've beaten MP3C already on all difficulties (except on Hyper Mode; curse you, Dark Samus!), and I heard Corruption contradicts the lore in Prime 1 and 2 (no spoilers on that, please).

It's a fun game, but after playing MP3C, I hate the controls. I kinda want the Trilogy now for the Wii, but it costs $300 on Amazon! O_O

Fun thing: in the beginning of Prime 1, you can get the Space Jump boots early. I've done this before and it was fun, though, not on this playthrough.

Anyway, I'm still having fun, though. I've got 35 missiles, the Morph Ball, the Bomb, the Charge Beam, and three Energy Tanks. :3

Never say never or always. In most cases, there is an exception to anything you can think of that you might use either word in. "Most likely" and "highly improbable" in a lot of those cases would ring true, but not never/always.

That's about $70-80 Rowan. I'd be more willing to pay $30. :P

Well, it's better than the $300 you mentioned earlier. By the way, I just google an item I want, then click on shopping. ;)

I bit the bullet and bid on a copy of the Trilogy. It's going for $51 right now (I'm the lead bidder), but it has 2 days left, so we'll see. :S

Anyway, I've gotten used to the 'cube controls again. And right now, I played like 3-4 hours today. That was a bad idea. XD

I have 6 energy tanks, 100+ missiles (I dunno what I have specifically since I haven't maxed my missile count since Thardus fight, and getting the Wavebuster), the Varia Suit, the Boost Ball, the Bomb, the Wave Beam, Super Missile, Spider Ball, Thermal Visor, Wavebuster, and of course, the starting items which are the Power Beam, Combat and Scan visor, and the Power Suit (though, they don't count toward item%).

I look forward to getting the Gravity Suit. That's when I'll use the Fusion Suit skin again (since the Varia Suit colors on the Fusion Suit are sooooo ugly) because it looks cool.

I heard you need friend vouchers in Prime 1 on the Trilogy to get the Fusion Suit. When I get my copy, if anyone has the trilogy and has vouchers to trade, I'll trade as many as I can get so I can access the Fusion Suit. I'd like to see it with the improved graphics.

I got to borrow my brother's Trilogy. MAN, I like the controls better, but I'm sad that the graphics for Prime 1 don't seem to be much better. :/

I've beaten Prime 1 quite a few months ago and I need to try and see if I can't buy Prime 2 and Prime 3 and beat them as well.

I wonder if Oogie Games has Prime 2 and Prime 3 for sale as they carry all kinds of games from the old atari all the way to the latest which is of course the Wii U.

As for Trilogy that is one that I would like to own, but doubt that Oogie Games itself would even have a copy of it for sale so I would probably have to hit up an auction site to even get it.
In the world there is both light and dark.

I'm formally knowen as Josh so now I'm Zandor.

No girlfriend yet, but I hope to have one again someday.
