You must be connected to the internet at ALL times to play AC2. >_<; Unless Steam changed something. That's why I'd wait for gog to bring out AC2... that is, if they do, because their stuff is DRM free.

What's really sad about the nasty DRM is that AC2 is arguably the best game in the franchise due to the additions and changes they made. Brotherhood builds and polishes those changes, but doesn't have an as good of storyline as AC2.

That's one of the reasons why I got the Xbox 360 for the AC series: to avoid the DRM (the other reason it was cheaper than upgrading my computer, which at the time, couldn't play the PC versions).

I really love AC2 though. I've played through it 8 times. Either I'm obsessed (which is highly likely) or it speaks the quality of the game or both. It's probably most likely to be both.

Because of AC2 and Brotherhood, I love Italy now, and I want to learn Italian (since both games take place in the Italian Renaissance). Also, when I get married, and if I have the money, I want my honeymoon to be in Italy. :3

I guess for the last two years, AC2 only requires a connection to launch the game.

Oh really? Well, that's better.

Anyway, I just assassinated my second target in AC1 - DC. Just plain fun.

There's a sale at www.gog.com right now for a lot of Ubisoft games, including M&M1-9 as well as the Heroes of M&M games. The sale ends in  16 hours, unfortunately. I'd have let you guys know before now, but I just heard about it :/

The nice thing is they're actually selling M&M1-6 in a collector's pack, for $3.99 USD. ALL of the M&M games (including the Heroes games and Crusaders) is a total of 10 items for $37.50 USD

Other games include the director's cut of Assassin's Creed, Rayman 1-3, and the Prince of Persia series. These are a lot of good buys, and all DRM free!

Yeah. It's funny they left out Ubisoft's 2008 Prince of Persia in that sale. I think they forgot it since they have a lot of Ubisoft titles.

Assassin's Creed is EIGHT dollars. Man, I wish I could have gotten it for that amount.

I could only afford M&M1-9, myself. I actually still have M&M9 in disc form, but I figured this was a good way to keep it around, since I won't need the disc to install and run it from GOG. :)

The RPG games are on sale, again. Planescape: Torment is especially good imo.

I couldn't get into Planescape Torment for some odd reason. :/

It gets really deep later in the game. I got a healthy respect of Egyptian music because of the ending music. ;)
