Saw a bug? Found a Flaw? Tell us! 2
« on: November 18, 2007, 04:40:05 PM »
Now that we have moved over to SMF, and most of things have been settled, I'm locking and unsticking the old bug report thread and replacing it with this.

I wish you would address here all the bugs, problems, complains and oddities you may run into, so that we know they exist and can do something to them. I or other admin/councellor will then list them to this first post so that you can easily check whether or not someone has already ran into similar problem as you.

The color codes:
The bug has been fixed.
The bug is waiting to be fixed.
The bug is possibly just a minor annoyance.

Bugs/Issues:
  • Cannot view what other users, that are online, are doing.
  • Normal users are able to view OZ forums that should be hidden
  • Attachments folder is full
  • You are not logged in the front page, although you're logged in in the Forums
  • OZ Suggestions and Bugs has been archived and needs to be disabled.
  • - Members do not appear on top of all the guests in the Who's online -list.
  • - No merging posts option
  • - Lady Ry'en's anniversary icon isn't showing up (If someone else has the same problem, please let us know. )
  • - SNDO's forum description needs to be updated.
  • - Trash can's settings need to be checked for:
        * You can post a new thread and poll.
        * You can reply to threads.
        * The post count, counts. Or it does not adjust your postcount when moved to the trash can.

Theme specific:
  • Aria: missing TinyPortal
  • Aria: custom profile fields missing
  • Aria: personal icons missing
  • Shadow: custom profile fields missing
  • Shadow: personal icons missing
  • Aria: Disable Sigs per post
  • Shadow: Disable Sigs per post

You can't click on the Users Online thing, to see what users are looking at like we could before.

Edit: Also, moderator tags only appear in the forum that the moderator is modding. >.>

Rowan liked the fact that mod badges only showed for their moding forums to clear some confusion.

Open Zelda shows this:
Child Boards: OZ General, OZ Suggestions & Bugs, OZ Help, OZ Scripting, OZ Graphics & Sound, OZ Projects, OZ Resources, Open Zelda Archive

The ones in red should not be shown, since they're no longer in use. Kouruu can decide for the suggestion and bugs.

The Open Zelda count on the main forum shows 1 topic, and 1 thread for the counter. This is wrong.

You can add polls to your thread, but can't be removed. Not sure if it should stay like this or not, especially if you goof a poll and can't remove.

Any link for our attachments, or were they all removed?
The shadow option does not work at all for text.

You have a flash tag, remove it before someone uses it against GU.

This should now be fixed.

Intentional, only moderators and up from that are able to edit/remove polls.

This is intentional at the moment, we are discussing on whether or not make the badge visible in other parts of the forum too.

For some odd reason, I turned off email notifications for subscribed threads about an hour ago. Just one minute ago I got an email telling me that the Final Ultimate Countdown had been posted in (and I had already subscribed to that thread).

Not precisely a bug, but avatar size/settings are different here than on GU. As you can see, my avatar (and Surge's) were more or less eviscerated by the stretching/shrinking. ;)

I'm guessing on this one, but it looks like VG needs its permissions set again. I'm guessing it was visible before to permission'ed older members (hence why I've never seen it until now), but it appears to be visible globally now.

That can be due to the fact that in the conversion all the settings we had in vB were turned into SMF default. We have been now working on changing the settings back to how they were. For example, I just set the maximum avatar size back to 150x150. I apologize for the inconvenience if there has been some trouble because of it. ^^;

A minimum of 150x150? The sample avatars in the profile page are only 64x64. I think a minimum of 64x64 and a maximum of 150x150 would work better.

EDIT: Was I just ninja'd? Fixed now. ;)

After your post my avatar was still broken, but after I finished posting it was then displayed properly. "Ninja'd" refers to when something critical to your post occurs/changes while you're writing the post.
