True most zelda games work the same but there are differences.
Zelda 2 had the scroll affact and leveling up. Windwaker had cell shading. Each zelda game has some new item that the other zelda games do not have.

@Fortitude, welcome to GU. I've seen you in chat and I've read your posts. You seem like a very kind and devoted person. I hope to see what you can offer to GU, if you plan to offer any skills. Once again, welcome and enjoy!

Very kind words, GiG! Most of these traits also apply to you in the encounters we've had! :dpsmiley:  I'll try my best to give what I can to GU, for sure.

Hello Fortitude. It would appear that you play ADOM. i have also played that game but cant last for more than a half an hour. I got to like lvl 17 once and completed 2 quests, then got my ass handed to me by a fire demon or something.

Anyway, i shall slap you with my special remote controller of sorcery (mag +5)

Yep, I sure do enjoy a good game of ADOM every now and then. The funny thing is, I'm a very bad player at roguelikes, but I still enjoy playing them! I get to maybe level 9, and then fall victim to a horde of giant ants in the northern caves. Arg. :dpsad:

I wonder how interested GU would be at a roguelike project? Hm...

What class do you usually play as? There are some that are a lot easier to play than others. I dont even see the point of some of the classes in that game. I think im usually a basic human fighter or a human barbarian. They both can cut down giant packs of wolves just by holding a direction button. Quick exp for sure doing that.

Oh, I rarely play as a fighting melee class, since they get mauled later on in the game. Or so I've heard. :dpwink:

I usually play a high elven wizard, armed with either magic missile or fire bolt. Maybe an acid bolt if I'm lucky. :dpevil: I die fast if I get cornered by a lot of enemies, but I can mow down a whole row of enemies when I get my spell levels up. The reason I stopped playing melee classes is because I get whomped by the mad carpenter in the 1st(2nd?) quest. :dphurt:
