I know this is a month old post and I think you may have figured it out yourself but you need to make a child class that derives from QWidget and implement the resizeEvent function. The function is called each time the user resize the window.

Yup that's fixed. Topic closed.  :l^_^

Well, I didn't get this warning before. Am I the only one getting it?

I've heard that the current 3D technology makes the effect too dark, because of the lost of image frequency since it is splitting in two. 120 hz / 2 = 60 hz. The best is to wait a drop of price and see the technology getting better. Yet, there's only one movie in 3D in blu-ray (I don't remember its name, it's a 3D toy-story alike movie).

EDIT- As Lukex says above about the frequency.

You need to make a group of screens to start the quest. In the quest designer, press right click then square your screen. Then you will be able to test your quest.

I've had a hard time to find them... I wonder if there's any abs function... Whatever, I can't see it in the help window.

Also, I had to write my own function to calculate distance between 2 entities. I think this should have been implemented. Here is it:
Code: [Select]
public Distance(entity1[20],entity2[20])
{
new x1;
new x2;
new y1;
new y2;

x1 = GetX(entity1);
x2 = GetX(entity2);
y1 = GetY(entity1);
y2 = GetY(entity2);

return ((x2-x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2)^(1/2);
}

I guess they'll make something like majora mask. Which could be very cool. I hope they don't rush the game as they did with twilight princess. More side quests would be cool.

I'm currently making a game in C++ with SDL. The goal of this game is to lead the red car to the exit. I've also made an editor.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGP1IVkI6og

I want to know:
-what background image should I put in the background
-what music type

To do list:
- reorganizing the code : right now, all my important variables stick in one sructure. :lT.T
- centering the grid : some code rewrite again
- playing music
- displaying a background
- being able to change the size of the grid via the editor; I would like to know what key is the best
- being able to return to the menu

I love SDL. :)

I can't make it work...

Code: [Select]
#include <entity>
#include <general>
#include <counter>
new hasTalk = false;
main()
{
if(FirstRun())
{
SetString("elder_exit",0,"elder_entrance");
}
MessageMap("elder",0,"I am the elder of this village. I've been even if I'm small size a knight serving for hyrule. I'm too old now and my bones are getting rusty",true,1);
MessageMap("elder",1,"Link,you need to show to Hyrule what our village is capable of. You possess in your blood wisdom, and that's all what you need to be a knight",true,2);
MessageMap("elder",2,"But without a sword and a shield, a knight cannot fight. Go buy a sword a shield.",true,3);
MessageMap("elder",3,"Did you understand everything I've said?   | Yes | Not at all!",true,4,1);
MessageMap("elder",4,"I know I could trust you. Now here's your bucks but don't spend it on smoking!",false,4);

if(GetLastAnswer() == 4)
{
IncCounterTarget("rupees",50);
hasTalk = true;
}
}

It does nothing right now...

{

MessageMap("elder",3,"Did you understand everything I've said?   | Yes | Not at all!",true,4,1);
MessageMap("elder",4,"I know I could trust you. Now here's your bucks but don't spend it on smoking!",false);

if(FinishedReading() && !hasTalk)
{
if(GetValue("elder",1) >= 4)
{
IncCounterTarget("rupees",50);
hasTalk = true;
}
}
}

What I want is to give to the player 50 rupees if the npc has finished talking...
