Termination of child support varies from state to state.

Most states terminate the support between the ages of 18 and 20, however some states may order support up until the age of 23 if the child is in an institute of higher education. Graduation from highschool can also affect the support payments in a few states.

All past-due child support payments automatically trigger a non expiring lien due the the Bradley Amendment, so it is possible to collect past-due payments no matter how old the child is.

Anyways, it sounds as if you wish to go after your father yourself to get the child support. I've never heard of this happening, nor do I know of anyway that it would be possible. All documents I've ever read state that only a custodial parent, caregiver or guardian may collect the payments. It is also possible for the state to collect payments as a result  of welfare being paid out.

Why is it that you are searching for this information, instead of your mother, or is it that you both are searching for this information?

Well its official. Michael Jackson has been found NOT GUILTY on all 10 charges against him!

As creepy as a person he is, I think they made the right choice. The people who filed these charges against him were just money sucking, celebrity mooching jerks.

Glad to hear that Michael is not really a child molester.

It seems to me that you don't truly understand what "not guilty" means.

In a court of law, not guilty only means that it was not possible to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person charged with the crime was guilty. Just because someone is found not guilty in court, it does not mean they are innocent.

Not solvable.

Due to not knowing whether or not the odd box out is heavier or lighter, you would need atleast two weighings to determine which it is. This would leave you with only a single weighing to determine which group of boxes the odd one belongs to, no matter how you grouped the boxes.

If any of you bothered checking, you can have the power cable replaced for free by filling out a short form.

As for what happens, the cable overheats and in rare cases may get hot enough to catch fire. Seems most damaged happens within the Xbox, but there have been cases when it was worse.

General Chit Chat / GUZ on a MAC?
« on: December 28, 2004, 01:12:47 AM »
GUZ is just a script that modifies mIRC. mIRC itself is a Windows only IRC client.

If you want an irc client for OSX, Ircle is one of the better ones. If you dont like it you could find a list of other clients at the MacOS section of IRC Reviews.

Don't worry.  I intend to make maps.  Maybe GameFAQs has them already...

That would be completely pointless for the Soul of Chaos dungeons, as they are randomly generated maps.

The Gaming Lounge / PS2 Problems
« on: December 13, 2004, 04:28:06 AM »
They are settings for the Playstation Driver, and shouldnt affect Playstation 2 games.

The original Playstation had a slower cd drive then the PS2, when playing a PSX game the PS2 responds like a PSX would and sends data to the RAM at a slower speed. When the diskspeed is set to fast, the data is sent faster which decreases loading time but there are alot of games that are tuned to the Playstations normal loading time so it ends up causing glitches.

As for the texture mapping, it applys a filter to help prevent pixellization. I've heard it works okay with some games and doest work at others, as it depends on the games filtering and shading methods. It doesnt fix the PSX's texture warping though.

And as I said in my previous post, those two settings are not saved when you turn your system off. So if your problems were caused by them, turn the power off and then back on, and so long as you dont change the settigns back to fast and smooth everything should be fine.

If the problem is still there are the systems power has been turned then those settings were not the cause of the problems.

Since you dont have the void warranty sticker on your console, if it keeps causing problems that you cant fix you might just want to get a new one.

I believe you are talking about the option that is in the Playstation driver. If so those options are so you can speed up loading times and texture mapping on PSX games, but they are not very useful, most of the time they will just glitch the games. Truthfully its best to leave them at their standard option.

As for your problem, it should fix its self by turning the power to the console off, as those settings are temporary and are reset everytime the console is turned off.
If you still have the problem make sure the the settings are at standard then try and play a game.

The Gaming Lounge / Fable Be Awesome

For one it says Xbox Live compayible on the games box, and two my bro has been keeping track of the gme and he said that theres going to be patches and what not for it. Don't believe me? too bad.....

Heh, same mistake many people have made. The game itself is Xbox Live Aware, which allows you to access your friends list, check your friends status, and recieve invitations to games that are Live enabled.

Developers can get certified to apply the various features supported by Live in their video games, each one requiring a different certification. A game that is Live Aware can not download content through Live, like a game that has certification and support for downloadable content.

If Fable were to recieve any type of patch or upgrades they would need to be applied through a seperate game disc, which might be the rumored Fable 1.5 but it is not yet known what 1.5 actually is.
