Yeah it has, wish it wasn't, truly I have been gone a very long time because of it. This place certainly has changed some since my last visit. I'll keep in touch as best I can and maybe post a little here and there, it's great to see all of the familiar faces though.

It seems the Shadow Realm (i.e. Real Life) has it in for me to not be on the internet or sites for any length of time at ANY given time. I just came in to say hey to the one site that had really started it all for me...not that anyone really cares though..

It's been really hectic for me in real and I am not sure when I'll be back on..I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Nova got up without any pomp and ceremony and brushed himself off. He was quite muscular, and some say he looked like Duke Nukem of the once popular game series. All in the past of course but still that was his resemblance as he adjusted his sunglasses and cleaned off his boomerang, the dying screams echoing in his head as he listened to the advice.

He was only here to serve and help and he didn't much care which way they went, saying as much as he polished the alloy boomerang in his hands. He paused to look at the reflection in the weapon and slightly smiled. But otherwise showed nothing on his face. He pocketed the Ethers for a later use though he was getting bogged down with inventory. Maybe that is why his attacks weren't being too terribly effective...he wasn't sure. He knew that they weren't doing as good as they should be and that was bothering him. He pocketed the boomerang and hoped he could find some kind of upgrade that would allow for more distance on a weaker throw and more damage without wearing himself down in the process.

He waited for the rest of the party to chime in and contemplated how the battle had gone and wondered if there was a way to help that out. He needed answers..and he had none.

Nova gets underneath it and does vertical tosses straight into the core with 2 boomerangs.

Nova, getting disgusted with the persistent nature of this thing, was beginning to get a little angry at it. He decides he is going to snipe the creature.

Nova dodged the beam, narrowly though, and got up. He didn't know just how long until they destroyed. But he was going to keep striking at it as much as he could. He throws his boomerang at the core again.

I don't really know of any "actual" quicksand animations. But you could rig up a combo of falling into a hole (i.e. the GBA Zelda games) with a sand tile. But instead of creating a "hole"...the tile could just be a solid dirt tile (like the sand tiles in LOZ). But I thought somewhere there were GBA Zeldas that had quicksand tiles, much like falling into a whirlpool or something. I could be wrong.

Nova gets on a platform and sees his armor disappear. Then he decides to use his sniper ability to smash the nearly destroyed shield. He doesn't hope to destroy it but he does hope to give it more damage.

I would love to see this place revived, I would love to create a new type of maze like survival game that requires you to think. But my last one didn't go so well because I guess no one liked the idea of not having a map of the place, or the way it started. I thought it was a neat idea. Also I would love to continue my nova character on Aegis's rpg...if it were possible. In anycase, I would join an rpg on here if allowed to.

Just make a registration thread. I also liked that class wars idea too, I thought I had a pretty good story there. Oh well.

I voted on it as excellent, that was off the charts hilarious cyclone. Good Stuff!

I don't think it is any amount of dungeons or puzzles or even sometimes the story, I believe it is the quality. I gave my example above as proof of that. But on to the point of this post.

In my opinion you can have as many or as little dungeons as possible in a game, I don't necessarily care. But I liked TP really because of the puzzles and the setup of each dungeon. Yes, I said I LIKED the dungeons in TP, I also did like the vast expanse of land in it too, reminded me a lot like Shadow of the Colossus. But I also liked the puzzles and the gameplay in each dungeon. The clever design of it all was great, in my opinion.

That is what made the OoT great, it had great dungeon design, nice gameplay, and the bosses weren't too bad either. I will never tire of the game. I am hoping Skyward Sword improves upon TP in a lot of ways.

While I agree on most (cant comment on Wind Waker, never played it) points, I will have to say that the ENTIRE Ending battle sequence in Twilight Princess ruined the game. It was by far the freaking easiest boss battle of every Zelda Game, I have ever played. Especially when you compare the resulting "sword fight" with Gannon. That was a sword fight it was more of a run circles around him while all he does is walk slowly and swing his sword like a little kid and roaring every so often like a kid throwing a fit, hardly the sword battle that was depicted in the demo reels that came our before the game ever went into serious production.

Hell, even in OOT you had a harder time of it. The first part was batting balls of energy right back at him and then slicing him to bits, yes a bit easy (still harder then TP) but much more fun then the first part of TP's final boss battle. Then you had to run away from a collapsing tower while fighting baddies along the way. Then you get to fight his large form. This also a lot harder then TP, as in TP all you really had to do was dodge, then strike. I mean come on, the final battle with Gannon in TP required no thought and nothing beyond dodges and sword swings. What kind of battle was that?? The only thing about the last fight in TP that would have made it a remote challenge would be doing in with my eyes closed. I just think they got really lazy and thought to hell with it.

It's a shame that so many of you can't make it. D: Oh well, getting to meet at least a little of the people will be fun. ^^

I will also be in Detroit, Michigan for a week starting 12th March, if anyone is interested in going for a cup of coffee or something and lives in the northern states. :D

Go directly south to Indiana and we might have a deal then. In anycase you have fun Myst. Im sure I might see ya someday. :)

There is a Live action Thundercats movie coming out soon.

And check this out too, Yes folks straight from this website are people bringing the Myst Series of games to life!!! They are right now in the process of getting a better script written. But it is in thew works! This is not a joke, this will actually happen!! Yahoo! I have been following this quite closely. Check it out if you are a fan of the series.
