Title: LISA
Post by: xainy on December 16, 2014, 06:50:10 AM
So, I backed this game about a year ago on Kickstarter and it finally came out today:
It was made in RPG Maker, and as far as I know, only one guy worked on the game [though I think someone else did the soundtrack, which I love]. The dev did a really great job.

The basic premise is that you play a man in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. There are no longer any women, so the human race is clearly headed toward extinction. The main character, Brad, finds a baby girl on the ground and dedicates his life to protecting her since a woman in this world would be highly sought-after by all kinds of crazy dudes.

I played a couple hours of it just now [I would still be playing but I need to work!] and I'm really enjoying it. It is mildly inappropriate in ways, but it's really my kind of humor I guess [I mean, come on...every character has huge red pixel nipples]. It's pretty touching as well, especially the first few minutes. A lot of people compare it to Earthbound, for whatever that's worth.

As I haven't played much yet, I can't say too much about it that isn't said on the About page on Steam, but it's definitely worth checking out at least the screenshots and videos. I already feel like it was worth the $10 I backed. If you have the funds, considering buying, if not, maybe put it on your wishlist for later! :)

Yeah, this appeals to my twisted sense of humor, too. I added it to my growing wishlist. I'll pick iy up at some point

Interesting premise ... and creepy at the same time.

A heads up for those (like me) that were interested in LISA, but never bought it: the latest Overwhelmingly Posistive Bundle ( on Humble Bundle has LISA in it.
